Glory Seed Guidelines

Notice – The ministries featured in this section of TheologyWeb are guests of this site and in some cases not bargaining for the rough and tumble world of debate forums, though sometimes they are. Additionally, this area is frequented and highlighted for guests who also very often are not acclimated to debate fora. As such, the rules of conduct here will be more strict than in the general forum. This will be something within the discretion of the Moderators and the Ministry Representative, but we simply ask that you conduct yourselves in a manner considerate of the fact that these ministries are our invited guests. You can always feel free to start a related thread in general forum without such extra restrictions. Thank you.

These daily devotionals are brought to you by Gary Piper, a writer with our Sister Site, Natural Spirit Ministries. TheologyWeb encourages you to visit and support their site.... they have many informative articles which can be discussed right here. If you enjoy Gary Piper's devotionals, please send him an encouraging note or post. We are very appreciative of our partnership with Natural Spirit Ministries and look forward to many more co-ventures.

Glory Seed Devotionals, 2015: Year of Promise
    Look at me, God…

Ever feel like it’s you against the world?
Ever feel like even the hairs on your head are worst enemy?
Ever feel like your good news bank account is way overdrawn?
Ever feel like you don’t stand a chance against the rats in the rat race?

If you’ve answer yes to any of these or if you’ve a list all your own then take heart because you’re not alone thousands of years the Psalmist felt the very same way. Out of his experience he wrote.

“How long, Lord, will you continue to ignore me? How long will you pay no attention to me? How long must I worry, and suffer in broad daylight? How long will my enemy gloat over me?

    Look at me!

Answer me, O Lord my God! Revive me, or else I will die! Then my enemy will say, “I have defeated him!” Then my foes will rejoice because I am upended.

But I trust in your faithfulness. May I rejoice because of your deliverance! I will sing praises to the Lord when he vindicates me.” (Psalms 13:1 – 13:6 NET Bible)

After pouring out his frustrations notice how he ended. He knew his trust in the Lord in spite of the frustrations would be rewarded when the Lord’s plan for his life played itself out. He knew the day would come when the Joy of Lord would radiate from his life silencing all his foes. And he knew one more thing, he knew if his words preserved they would be source of encouragement for you.

Please re-read the words once more not thinking of the Psalmist but of yourself.

    Believe! Anticipate! Experience! Be transformed!
    Grace and PEACE, Amen!
    Gary

The LORD gives strength to those who are weary… But those who trust the LORD will find new strength…” (Isaiah 40:29, 31 CEV)
