Glory Seed Guidelines

Notice – The ministries featured in this section of TheologyWeb are guests of this site and in some cases not bargaining for the rough and tumble world of debate forums, though sometimes they are. Additionally, this area is frequented and highlighted for guests who also very often are not acclimated to debate fora. As such, the rules of conduct here will be more strict than in the general forum. This will be something within the discretion of the Moderators and the Ministry Representative, but we simply ask that you conduct yourselves in a manner considerate of the fact that these ministries are our invited guests. You can always feel free to start a related thread in general forum without such extra restrictions. Thank you.

These daily devotionals are brought to you by Gary Piper, a writer with our Sister Site, Natural Spirit Ministries. TheologyWeb encourages you to visit and support their site.... they have many informative articles which can be discussed right here. If you enjoy Gary Piper's devotionals, please send him an encouraging note or post. We are very appreciative of our partnership with Natural Spirit Ministries and look forward to many more co-ventures.

Glory Seed Devotionals, 2015: Year of Promise
The best is yet to come…

“…What God has planned for people who love him is more than eyes have seen or ears have heard. It has never even entered our minds!” (1 Corinthians 2:9 CEV)

I had a good friend and co-worker who lived in the shadow of darkness and when things began to look hopeless he would always say, “Well, it doesn’t get any better than this.” And if he wasn’t quoting that one he had another one I will not repeat here. No matter how hard I tried to convince him otherwise he would not come out from under the cloud of darkness. Unfortunately he’s not alone because there are times when it gets so crowded there’s only elbow room. And to be completely honest I’ve even bumped into some of my Christian friends under there myself, had I been alive during the time Jesus’ crucifixion I may have bumped into Peter or maybe doubting Thomas.

Does your life seems to be falling apart one piece at a time? Do you find yourself temporarily living under the cloud of darkness? Are you convinced life doesn’t get any better than where it is at now? Are you waiting to see what fall apart next? Are your eyes so accustomed to the dark you’re afraid to leave? If so then you need to know no matter how hard the cloud of darkness tries to overpower you when you earnestly ask Jesus the Holy Spirit will bring to light and life the words of the bible replacing fear with the Peace of Jesus.

By the way even though my friend passed away before he was able to retire yet because of our conversations about Jesus he was able to experience firsthand what God has prepared for those that love him even though it wasn’t here on earth. But don’t you wait like he did Paul’s words are for the here and now!

    Believe! Anticipate! Experience! Be transformed!
    Grace and PEACE, Amen!
    Gary

The LORD gives strength to those who are weary… But those who trust the LORD will find new strength…” (Isaiah 40:29, 31 CEV)

    Amen Crusty!
3 For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, 4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures --1 Corinthians 15:3-4 (borrowed with gratitude from 37818's sig)
