Glory Seed Guidelines

Notice Ė The ministries featured in this section of TheologyWeb are guests of this site and in some cases not bargaining for the rough and tumble world of debate forums, though sometimes they are. Additionally, this area is frequented and highlighted for guests who also very often are not acclimated to debate fora. As such, the rules of conduct here will be more strict than in the general forum. This will be something within the discretion of the Moderators and the Ministry Representative, but we simply ask that you conduct yourselves in a manner considerate of the fact that these ministries are our invited guests. You can always feel free to start a related thread in general forum without such extra restrictions. Thank you.

These daily devotionals are brought to you by Gary Piper, a writer with our Sister Site, Natural Spirit Ministries. TheologyWeb encourages you to visit and support their site.... they have many informative articles which can be discussed right here. If you enjoy Gary Piper's devotionals, please send him an encouraging note or post. We are very appreciative of our partnership with Natural Spirit Ministries and look forward to many more co-ventures.

Glory Seed Devotionals, 2015: Year of Promise
You can run from God but you canít hide from GodÖ

Thereís little doubt in my mind at some point youíve not heard or read the following scripture from Paulís letter to the Romans. ďAnd I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God's love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow--not even the powers of hell can separate us from God's love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below--indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.Ē (Romans 8:38-39 NLT)

Like I said Iím sure your familiar with it but have you been intimate with it? Have you allowed it to find its way into your DNA (Daytime, Nighttime, Activities)?

Not only does the apostle Paul tell us we can run from God but we canít hide from God the Psalmist does as well. ďI can never escape from your Spirit! I can never get away from your presence! If I go up to heaven, you are there; if I go down to the grave, you are there. If I ride the wings of the morning, if I dwell by the farthest oceans, even there your hand will guide me, and your strength will support me. I could ask the darkness to hide me and the light around me to become nightó but even in darkness I cannot hide from you. To you the night shines as bright as day. Darkness and light are the same to you.Ē (Psalm 139:7Ė12, NLT)

Paul talks about Godís ever present love the Psalmist talks about Godís ever present presence. Now that youíve encountered or re-encountered them this morning will you allow yourself the freedom to become intimate with them? Will you allow them to become part of your DNA?

You canít run from someone without first turning your back on them. I remember my dad a World War Two veteran telling of a time when instead of running from God he ran toward God it happened in a foxhole in Germany, in a faraway land where Godís love and Godís presence became a part of a young Harley Piperís DNA in response my dad gave his life to God. And I am so thankful for the Holy Spirit who has planted Godís love and Godís presence in my DNA as well.

    Anticipate! Experience! Believe! Be transformed!
    Grace and PEACE, Amen!
