Glory Seed Guidelines

Notice – The ministries featured in this section of TheologyWeb are guests of this site and in some cases not bargaining for the rough and tumble world of debate forums, though sometimes they are. Additionally, this area is frequented and highlighted for guests who also very often are not acclimated to debate fora. As such, the rules of conduct here will be more strict than in the general forum. This will be something within the discretion of the Moderators and the Ministry Representative, but we simply ask that you conduct yourselves in a manner considerate of the fact that these ministries are our invited guests. You can always feel free to start a related thread in general forum without such extra restrictions. Thank you.

These daily devotionals are brought to you by Gary Piper, a writer with our Sister Site, Natural Spirit Ministries. TheologyWeb encourages you to visit and support their site.... they have many informative articles which can be discussed right here. If you enjoy Gary Piper's devotionals, please send him an encouraging note or post. We are very appreciative of our partnership with Natural Spirit Ministries and look forward to many more co-ventures.

    Glory Seed Devotional, 01/21/2015

Glory Seed Devotionals, 2015: Year of Promise
God, the primary source of encouragement…

I you have been following along with me you know I have a high dependency on God. If you have then you know something about the circumstances that fuel my dependency. Those circumstances compose the “why of dependency” here is the “reason for the dependency”. “John responded, "No one can receive a single thing unless it's given to him from heaven.” (John 3:27 HCSB)

During several months in the fall of 2013 I refer to as my troubled heart time my wife Patti was (second only to God) my main source of encouragement. Sometimes her words were soft, kind, and comforting other times they were harsh, demanding, and confronting yet every word was given to keep me putting one foot in front of other until those “troubled heart days” had passed. I needed encouragement she was my provider, however she also needed a provider and I don’t know if she realizes it or not the Holy Spirit was her provider giving her not only encouragement but the strength to be an encourager as well. And because of her encouragement I received from the Holy Spirit the courage and strength to keep putting one foot in front of the other.

I am not sure what “troubled ________ days” you are experiencing they could be health related, financial related, relationship related, the unknown future, making tough decisions. What I do know is God is waiting to provide you with the encouragement you need to keep putting one foot in front of the other. It is my deepest desire that I may assist you in encouraging you to communicate, connect, and establish a connection with God via the Holy Spirit. He is ready to give you everything you need.

Let’s end this Glory Seed with a simple prayer. Heavenly Father,“You answer us in righteousness, with awe-inspiring works, God of our salvation, the hope of all the ends of the earth and of the distant seas.” (Psalm 65:5, HCSB)

    AMEN!

    Anticipate! Experience! Believe! Be transformed!
    Grace and PEACE, Amen!
    Gary
