A Glory Seed Devotional planted for the Greater Glory of God
2015: Year of Promise…

2015! Wouldn’t it be great if with each New Year we could start over with a clean slate with no left over baggage from previous years, with no fears only our hopes and dreams for our ultimate year? But as you are powerfully aware of that isn’t what takes place as I sit here the past 68 years still linger with me and somehow jell together to make me who I am. Yet ready or not here comes another year with its already open and empty baggage waiting to be filled and join the rest of my accumulated “stuff”. But I followed my own advice and didn’t leave 2014 without the Holy Spirit in my hands Jesus in my heart God in my sight and praise on my lips.

As I sit here a yearly theme for 2015 keeps trying to squeeze its way in being pushed into my year by the Holy Spirit probably so I will take the hint and begin using it not just as a yearly theme but also as a preface of what is yet to come out of Jesus’ heart to my heart.

2015: Year of the Promise…

And every yearly theme needs based and anchored not on pie-in-the-sky-dreams but on the solid foundation of Hope lived out in our everyday encounter with a God that loves us unconditionally.

2015: Theme scripture…

“The LORD is my light and the one who saves me. So why should I fear anyone? The LORD protects my life. So why should I be afraid? Evil people may try to destroy my body. My enemies and those who hate me attack me, but they are overwhelmed and defeated. If an army surrounds me, I will not be afraid. If war breaks out, I will trust the LORD. I ask only one thing from the LORD. This is what I want: Let me live in the LORD’s house all my life. Let me see the LORD’s beauty and look with my own eyes at his Temple.” (Psalm 27:1–4, NCV)

2015 the adventure begins… Let us not walk ahead of the LORD but in step faithfully behind the LORD!

Anticipate! Experience! Believe! Be transformed!
Grace and PEACE, Amen!
