A Planting of Faith Seeds for the Glory of the LORD
The words of God echo forth forever and ever…
For so many the clouds of doubt make difficult your journey through life. For so many doubt is a way of life. The newspapers, the airwaves, even the day to day conversations are filled with small trickles of uncertainty.
“The economy continues to falter…”
“Unemployment continues to rise…”
“The war in the mid-east continues escalate…”
“The times in which we live are unparalleled in human history…”
And the list goes on and on until suddenly the trickles become a raging river. But out of history the words of the Father given to people long ago remind you not to fear because the Father was, is, and will be with you in your circumstances as well.
If you take a few moments and quiet yourself I am certain you’ll be able to hear God is saying, “I am not a Savior locked into any one period of time but I am for all time. While you may think your river of doubt is wider, you may think the flames of your doubt are hotter plant your thoughts on this truth through the Holy Spirit I am still the one who parted the waters of the red sea, I am still the one who cooled the flames of the furnaces of Babylon therefore if you will exercise faith, if you will believe, if you will trust, if you will take the first step and ask you’ll discover that I am that I am.”
“…You must not fear, for I have redeemed you. I have called you by your name; you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and through the rivers, they shall not flow over you. When you walk through fire, you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not scorch you. For I am Yahweh, your God, the holy one of Israel, your savior…” (Isaiah 43:1–3, LEB, selected portions)
Believe it! Experience it!
Grace and PEACE!
