Glory Seed Guidelines

Notice – The ministries featured in this section of TheologyWeb are guests of this site and in some cases not bargaining for the rough and tumble world of debate forums, though sometimes they are. Additionally, this area is frequented and highlighted for guests who also very often are not acclimated to debate fora. As such, the rules of conduct here will be more strict than in the general forum. This will be something within the discretion of the Moderators and the Ministry Representative, but we simply ask that you conduct yourselves in a manner considerate of the fact that these ministries are our invited guests. You can always feel free to start a related thread in general forum without such extra restrictions. Thank you.

These daily devotionals are brought to you by Gary Piper, a writer with our Sister Site, Natural Spirit Ministries. TheologyWeb encourages you to visit and support their site.... they have many informative articles which can be discussed right here. If you enjoy Gary Piper's devotionals, please send him an encouraging note or post. We are very appreciative of our partnership with Natural Spirit Ministries and look forward to many more co-ventures.

A Planting of Faith Seeds for the Glory of the LORD
    Jesus’ Vision…

A long time ago after spending 40 days in the wilderness Jesus not only walked into history, he became history. And with every step he took he was accompanied by a vision, a vision that became his goal in life and in death.

The vision wasn’t his confrontation with Satan. It wasn’t his walk on water. It wasn’t feeding 5000 with small portions of bread and fish. It wasn’t calming storms, healing, casting out demons. It wasn’t his death on the cross. It wasn’t his glorious resurrection.

    His vision was much simpler.

Deep in his spirit Jesus saw you. He saw himself lifting you as you fell away from God. He saw himself strengthening you in face of evil. He saw himself singing love songs to you when are lonely. He saw himself celebrating with you in times of joy and crying with you in times of sadness. And it was this vision that carried him through life with love in his heart and smile on his lips.

Jesus’ greatest desire for your life is for his vision to become your vision. His desire is for you to experience him lifting you, strengthening you, listening to his love songs, celebrating with you, crying with you. Living hundreds of years before Jesus the Psalmist put words to Jesus’ vision for your life today.

“The LORD is my shepherd; I have all that I need. He lets me rest in green meadows; he leads me beside peaceful streams. He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to his name. Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me. You prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies. You honor me by anointing my head with oil. My cup overflows with blessings. Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the LORD forever.” (Psalm 23:1–6, NLT)

Jesus’ vision is yours for the asking!

    Believe it! Experience it!
    Grace and PEACE!
    Gary

And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from His glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:19 NLT)

    Amen Gary! Wonderful words.
3 For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, 4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures --1 Corinthians 15:3-4 (borrowed with gratitude from 37818's sig)
