Glory Seed Guidelines

Notice – The ministries featured in this section of TheologyWeb are guests of this site and in some cases not bargaining for the rough and tumble world of debate forums, though sometimes they are. Additionally, this area is frequented and highlighted for guests who also very often are not acclimated to debate fora. As such, the rules of conduct here will be more strict than in the general forum. This will be something within the discretion of the Moderators and the Ministry Representative, but we simply ask that you conduct yourselves in a manner considerate of the fact that these ministries are our invited guests. You can always feel free to start a related thread in general forum without such extra restrictions. Thank you.

These daily devotionals are brought to you by Gary Piper, a writer with our Sister Site, Natural Spirit Ministries. TheologyWeb encourages you to visit and support their site.... they have many informative articles which can be discussed right here. If you enjoy Gary Piper's devotionals, please send him an encouraging note or post. We are very appreciative of our partnership with Natural Spirit Ministries and look forward to many more co-ventures.

A Planting of Faith Seeds for the Glory of the LORD
Out of the Mouth of God…

Fear is one of the greatest most powerful enemies we will ever face in our life. It is one that each of us will face and encounter on a daily basis. Fear has the power and intention of stopping us dead in our tracks and robs us of everything we have of value. Fear is so sneaky that it can even rob us of love, of peace and security; in fact fear has been known to masquerade as peace and security.

Perhaps this morning fear is staring you in the face. Is it trying to stop you from moving on with your life? Is it preventing you from making a decision you know you need to make? Is it preventing you from becoming the person you are destined to become? Is it telling you not to accept the reality of things as they are? Is it telling you to just lie down and quit trying? As incapacitating as fear can be and is there is good news…

    GOD…
    KNOWS…
    YOUR…
    FEAR!

And out of the mouth of God come powerful words powerful enough to stomp fear into the shriveling, powerless little parasite it really is. “Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will help you; I will hold on to you with My righteous right hand… For I, Yahweh your God, hold your right hand and say to you: Do not fear, I will help you.” (Isaiah 41:10, 13 HCSB)

God’s message to you this morning is you are NOT the weakling your fears assume you to be! Therefore, “Be strong and courageous; don’t be terrified or afraid of them. For it is the Lord your God who goes with you; He will not leave you or forsake you.” (Deuteronomy 31:6, HCSB)

    Believe it! Experience it!
    Grace and PEACE!
    Gary

    Amen Gary! Encouraging words indeed.
3 For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, 4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures --1 Corinthians 15:3-4 (borrowed with gratitude from 37818's sig)
