Glory Seed Guidelines

Notice – The ministries featured in this section of TheologyWeb are guests of this site and in some cases not bargaining for the rough and tumble world of debate forums, though sometimes they are. Additionally, this area is frequented and highlighted for guests who also very often are not acclimated to debate fora. As such, the rules of conduct here will be more strict than in the general forum. This will be something within the discretion of the Moderators and the Ministry Representative, but we simply ask that you conduct yourselves in a manner considerate of the fact that these ministries are our invited guests. You can always feel free to start a related thread in general forum without such extra restrictions. Thank you.

These daily devotionals are brought to you by Gary Piper, a writer with our Sister Site, Natural Spirit Ministries. TheologyWeb encourages you to visit and support their site.... they have many informative articles which can be discussed right here. If you enjoy Gary Piper's devotionals, please send him an encouraging note or post. We are very appreciative of our partnership with Natural Spirit Ministries and look forward to many more co-ventures.

A Planting of Faith Seeds for the Glory of the LORD
    Lord above thanks for Miracle…

One of my favorite songs is “I Need a Miracle” by Third Day, a song about a young family who in desperation prays for a miracle then just at the right time they experience the miracle they need. For me it is a powerful story about the far reaching breath of prayer and the mercy, compassion, love, and grace of God. It also serves as a constant reminder of my need for God and the timelessness of his intervention in my own life and the everyday miracles seen and unseen I have been blessed with.

As power as the story is it is the chorus that reminds me not just of the miracles God has put in my life but also how fragile life really is.
    (Chorus)
“Well no matter who you are
And no matter what you’ve done
    There will come a time
When you can’t make it on your own
And in your time of desperation
Know you’re not the only one
Praying, Lord above I need a miracle.”

I know (as the chorus says) I am not alone in my continuing need for God’s presence in my life (the real miracle) and the blessings (miracles) that come with his presence. While I am not aware of what all your needs are I do know you need God’s presence in your life and I know the words of the author of the book of Hebrews can give you the assurance that God’s presence is assured in the life of Jesus.

“Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens—Jesus the Son of God—let us hold fast to the confession. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tested in every way as we are, yet without sin. Therefore let us approach the throne of grace with boldness, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us at the proper time.” (Hebrews 4:14–16, HCSB)

    Believe it! Experience it!
    Grace and PEACE!

Suddenly, Jesus was standing there among them! “Peace be with you,” he said.”
