Glory Seed Guidelines

Notice – The ministries featured in this section of TheologyWeb are guests of this site and in some cases not bargaining for the rough and tumble world of debate forums, though sometimes they are. Additionally, this area is frequented and highlighted for guests who also very often are not acclimated to debate fora. As such, the rules of conduct here will be more strict than in the general forum. This will be something within the discretion of the Moderators and the Ministry Representative, but we simply ask that you conduct yourselves in a manner considerate of the fact that these ministries are our invited guests. You can always feel free to start a related thread in general forum without such extra restrictions. Thank you.

These daily devotionals are brought to you by Gary Piper, a writer with our Sister Site, Natural Spirit Ministries. TheologyWeb encourages you to visit and support their site.... they have many informative articles which can be discussed right here. If you enjoy Gary Piper's devotionals, please send him an encouraging note or post. We are very appreciative of our partnership with Natural Spirit Ministries and look forward to many more co-ventures.

A Planting of Faith Seeds for the Glory of the LORD
In the Light of the Tomb…

“After the soldiers crucified Jesus, they took his clothes and divided them into four parts, with each soldier getting one part. They also took his long shirt, which was all one piece of cloth, woven from top to bottom. So the soldiers said to each other, “We should not tear this into parts. Let’s throw lots to see who will get it.” This happened so that this Scripture would come true: “They divided my clothes among them, and they threw lots for my clothing.” So the soldiers did this.” (John 19:23–24, NCV)

Lord, I know the Holy Spirit is seamless woven into one of peace by God in Heaven, Jesus on the Cross, Jesus in Tomb, Jesus Exiting the tomb, and Jesus in Heaven.

Lord, I know it is the Holy Spirit that gives me eternal life yet I also know that while I walk through life like Jesus’ tunic it will protect me from the elements, I will be warm when the cold winds of adversity blow on me, I will not be harmed from the scorching heat of irresolvable conflicts, and I will be protected from the swift moving current of life.

Holy Spirit, descend upon me breathe into me life, Jesus’ life. Protect me from the elements. Continue to lead me on my journey as a Servant of the Most High God. Continue to illuminate the path upon which I walk focus my sight not on the cross but on the empty tomb and the Risen Savior who patiently awaits my arrival.

We are people of the Resurrection called to be Living Witnesses of a Living Savior not a dead Jesus! We do not live in the shadow of the Cross but in the Light of the Tomb!

    Believe it! Experience it!
    Grace and PEACE!
    Gary

Suddenly, Jesus was standing there among them! “Peace be with you,” he said.”
