Glory Seed Guidelines

Notice – The ministries featured in this section of TheologyWeb are guests of this site and in some cases not bargaining for the rough and tumble world of debate forums, though sometimes they are. Additionally, this area is frequented and highlighted for guests who also very often are not acclimated to debate fora. As such, the rules of conduct here will be more strict than in the general forum. This will be something within the discretion of the Moderators and the Ministry Representative, but we simply ask that you conduct yourselves in a manner considerate of the fact that these ministries are our invited guests. You can always feel free to start a related thread in general forum without such extra restrictions. Thank you.

These daily devotionals are brought to you by Gary Piper, a writer with our Sister Site, Natural Spirit Ministries. TheologyWeb encourages you to visit and support their site.... they have many informative articles which can be discussed right here. If you enjoy Gary Piper's devotionals, please send him an encouraging note or post. We are very appreciative of our partnership with Natural Spirit Ministries and look forward to many more co-ventures.

A Planting of Faith Seeds for the Glory of the LORD
Part Two: A Journey inside the Crucifixion Jesus…

“When Pilate heard this, he was even more afraid. He went back inside the palace and asked Jesus, “Where do you come from?” But Jesus did not answer him. Pilate said, “You refuse to speak to me? Don’t you know I have power to set you free and power to have you crucified?” Jesus answered, “The only power you have over me is the power given to you by God. The man who turned me in to you is guilty of a greater sin.”” (John 19:8–11, NCV)

Lord, one of the most powerful things on earth I face each and every day of my life is the power of truth. As powerful, as truth is it is the consequences of denying it, distorting it, or embracing it that are far more powerful and far reaching.

Pilate knew the truth and denied it.

The people knew the truth and distorted it.

Jesus knew and the truth and embraced it.

The truthfulness of saying I am a Servant of the Most High God is not in the words but in the truthfulness of whether or not I am willing to embrace the repercussions of rolling up my sleeves and plunging myself into the lives of those are oppressed though no fault of their own with the revelation and ministry of Jesus Christ. And of equal importance is going into the lives of those who are the oppressors with the revelation and ministry of Jesus Christ.

Lord, when I look at the person looking back at me in a mirror may the revelation, ministry, and life of Jesus illuminate the truth no matter how painful it may be for me to see. To experience truth is freeing to live the truth is to be confined by the truth. We are people of the Resurrection called to be Living Witnesses of a Living Savior not a dead Jesus! If we are truly people of the Resurrection then we will be found walking the path of our Resurrected Savior.

    Believe it! Experience it!
    Grace and PEACE!

Suddenly, Jesus was standing there among them! “Peace be with you,” he said.”

    Amen Gary.
3 For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, 4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures --1 Corinthians 15:3-4 (borrowed with gratitude from 37818's sig)
