Glory Seed Guidelines

Notice – The ministries featured in this section of TheologyWeb are guests of this site and in some cases not bargaining for the rough and tumble world of debate forums, though sometimes they are. Additionally, this area is frequented and highlighted for guests who also very often are not acclimated to debate fora. As such, the rules of conduct here will be more strict than in the general forum. This will be something within the discretion of the Moderators and the Ministry Representative, but we simply ask that you conduct yourselves in a manner considerate of the fact that these ministries are our invited guests. You can always feel free to start a related thread in general forum without such extra restrictions. Thank you.

These daily devotionals are brought to you by Gary Piper, a writer with our Sister Site, Natural Spirit Ministries. TheologyWeb encourages you to visit and support their site.... they have many informative articles which can be discussed right here. If you enjoy Gary Piper's devotionals, please send him an encouraging note or post. We are very appreciative of our partnership with Natural Spirit Ministries and look forward to many more co-ventures.

A Planting of Faith Seeds for the Glory of the LORD
    Jesus is alive for you…

“He isn’t here! He is risen from the dead! Remember what he told you back in Galilee, that the Son of Man must be betrayed into the hands of sinful men and be crucified, and that he would rise again on the third day.” Then they remembered that he had said this.” (Luke 24:6–8, NLT)

Yesterday while driving from Louisville, Kentucky to our home in Michigan I passed a cargo van that had, “Jesus died for you” hand written in the dirt on its back doors. At first I chuckled to myself because usually when vehicles are dirty someone writes, “wash me” (or worse) in the dirt but instead someone wrote a simple message of God’s love and for an instant I thought of the many people who would be seeing that simple but profound message of how much God loved not only the writer but also the reader.

As important and powerful are the words, “Jesus died for you” are equally important are the words, “Jesus is alive for you!” Jesus’ death on the cross was a part of God’s Plan for Jesus’ life and ours too but it was ONLY A PART of the plan and likewise Jesus’ resurrection was ONLY A PART of God’s two phase plan.

Jesus reveals phase one of God’s plan, “For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him… I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.” (John 3:16–17, 14:27, NLT)

The Apostle Paul reveals the second and final phase of God’s plan, “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus… I know how to live on almost nothing or with everything. I have learned the secret of living in every situation, whether it is with a full stomach or empty, with plenty or little. For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.” (Philippians 4:6-7, 12–13, NLT)

    Jesus is alive for you!
Believe it! Experience him! Love him!
    Grace and PEACE!
    Gary

Suddenly, Jesus was standing there among them! “Peace be with you,” he said.”
    (John 20:19, NLT)
