A Planting of Faith Seeds for the Glory of the LORD
Bricks, Stones, and Jesus…
You are an important part of God’s Kingdom building plan! “…God is building a home. He's using us all--irrespective of how we got here--in what he is building. He used the apostles and prophets for the foundation. Now he's using you, fitting you in brick by brick, stone by stone, with Christ Jesus as the cornerstone that holds all the parts together. We see it taking shape day after day--a holy temple built by God, all of us built into it, a temple in which God is quite at home.” (Ephesians 2:19 – 2:22, emphasis mine)
Life is not all about one person. Life is about everyone living in harmony not only with each other but with Presently Great Planet Earth as well. God not only blesses the entire human race at once but to a single person (you) at the same time.
Paul reminds us that, “irrespective of how we got,” to be bricks and stones Jesus is the cornerstone not any of us. In a world that sees the hierarchy from the top “cream of the crop” in society to the “subterranean” marginalized and outcasts of society Paul says all are important! This is clearly illustrated by two important events in Jesus’ life. It was lowly shepherds that first shared his birth place with him and it was with two thieves he shared his death place with. And perhaps the most important event in Jesus’ life he shared with no one – his tomb!
Jesus put it this way, “I'm telling you, once and for all, that unless you return to square one and start over like children, you're not even going to get a look at the kingdom, let alone get in.” (Matthew 18:3)
There are two things Easter reminds us of we will all irrespective of what we attained in life experience the cross and we will all irrespective of what we attained in life experience the tomb. Lent is a 40 day period that allows us to examine and experience our finitude and allow Jesus’ sacrifice and resurrection to make us fit for infinity.
Believe it! Experience it!
Grace and PEACE!

“Then the disciple who had reached the tomb first also went in, and he saw and believed—for until then they still hadn’t understood the Scriptures that said Jesus must rise from the dead. Then they went home.” (John 20:8–10, NLT)
