    You know that embarrassment that comes when we meet mythicists who think they know something about history? The same can happen when Christians speak without knowledge just as much, and that's a far greater concern.

    Nice. I certainly agree with the thrust of the article. I do have a tangential question, though. I've heard you mention that you prefer another formulation of the Cosmological argument, before, and the mention of it in this article has certainly piqued my interest. Have you written on that particular formulation, before? If so, where might I find it?

      In-depth? I haven't. But I will give you the basic form of it.

      Everything that depends on something else for its existing requires a cause.
      The universe depends on something else for its existing.
      The universe requires a cause.

      This is true even if the universe is eternal.

        Gotcha. I don't want to derail this thread much more than I already have, but if I open a thread on this in the Philosophy forum, would you be interested in discussing it there?
