Fraternity Guidelines

This is a guy's only forum. No girls allowed. Male bonding time.

In here we can leave the seat up, drink from the carton and talk about manly things without fear of the ladies butting in. You know how they can be.

But remember, always play by the rules: here
See more

Where do we draw the line on crossing the gender line?

I think part of it is that when I'm explaining something, I go into "teacher mode", thinking I need to project my voice to the back of the room.
You doing that makes sense when you consider things like muscle memory. When you get into a mode of conversation your body is doing what it is used to under similar circumstances. I was never taught things like how to project my voice. I just can't gauge my volume level well, mostly on the side of being too quiet.

For me this is also an issue when I laugh. The funnier I find something, the more likely I will laugh very loudly.

Oh, speaking of loud - my wife cringes when I sneeze in public.
The first to state his case seems right until another comes and cross-examines him.

        Yeah. I don't hold a sneeze in.

I'm always still in trouble again

So you sneeze like my dad. I used to make a weird squeak noise when I sneezed from holding it in. I can't do that anymore, and it hurts worse than when I could hold it in.
