  • Why Does Everything Have to Come at Once?

Yesterday I was kicked out of the choir (not how our choir director put it but much more true than her version). Today Siren died and I received notice that they are seizing the stuff in my storage unit.

And I have to surrender the car.

Enter the Church and wash away your sins. For here there is a hospital and not a court of law. Do not be ashamed to enter the Church; be ashamed when you sin, but not when you repent. – St. John Chrysostom

Does this storage notice mention anything about disputing their claim?

You may be able to stop default actions. a complete payment before the sale seems to be able to secure your belongings to yourself again.

This is what I found on that:
          Section 8-15-34
          11) Before any sale or other disposition of personal property pursuant to this section, the occupant may pay the
amount necessary to satisfy the lien and the reasonable expenses incurred under this section and thereby redeem the
personal property. Upon receipt of such payment, the owner shall return the personal property, and thereafter the
owner shall have no liability to any person with respect to such personal property.

Yes and yes - but it's more money than I have. I could contest just to slow the process down but at the moment there's no advantage to it.

In other news, Scamp (kitten) is doing very well and someone stopped me on the street today to thank me for a small gift I'd made. Made me feel better, anyway.

OK how do you get thrown out of church choir except by singing off key?

                          I'm 'not accurate'.

Reality, no, I'm not the greatest - I don't sing off key but I can't always follow alto well. The actual issue is that someone complained and it was easier to hurt me than take that person on. Odds on favorite is that we won't have any altos by August - if not much sooner.

                          Not. My. Problem.

Can't be as bad as Rogue's singing. Remember when we secretly recorded him doing his solo?

Hopefully things start turning around for you soon. But there certainly are times that the old adage "when it rains it pours" seems like a truism.

I'm always still in trouble again
