So, we had a visit today that, if it went well, would mean that Mrs CP didn't have to go back to Houston for another doctor's visit or exam for a whole year.
On the way there (about 60 miles) we did not have a single red light - ALL green lights the whole way.
Finally, Mrs CP was called into the exam room, from which she texted me that they were doing a second... then a THIRD screening because they were "looking at a spot".
It was another two hours until the next visit, where her Doctor would interpret the screenings. She wanted me to sit in on that meeting, so I did. Dr. covered all the medications, asked lots of questions, heard Mrs CP's concerns, then shook hands and was headed out the door. I said - WAIT... what about the spot? The Dr. had no clue, and Mrs CP explained that they had to take two different sets of pictures, then an additional 3D scan. Dr. was surprised, and said, "well, hold on, let me go check into this", and she stepped out of the room.
When the Dr came back into the room, she was smiling really big, and said, "no, they were just looking at some of the scar tissue from reconstruction, and making sure they got good pictures for subsequent comparisons".
So, Dr. did quite a thorough manual exam of Mrs CP just to be sure, and confirmed -- "unless you need something, don't come back for a year!"
Thanks to all who prayed.
