There is nothing wrong with people who need the help getting Foodstamps or other welfare. That is what it is there for. I only have problems when someone takes advantage of the system. You are not doing that. You are trying to get a job, and need help in the meantime.

Your taxes from your previous job helped pay for them, for just such an emergency. Use it until you don't need it and don't worry about it. esp since they are trying to deny you Unemployment benefits...
