    Well, I Find Out Monday

    Despite the fact that I was home, the Post Office left a 'sorry we missed you card' today. The certified letter is from the Dept of Labor. Translation, it's the decision of my appeal hearing. So, I'm either still on unemployment or not and I won't know until Monday.

    I sooooo wanna find a job now...

    I have even left notes on the front door --- "I am in the BACK, it will take a couple minutes to answer the door, but I am HOME!"

    And STILL they leave a note and run, without leaving the package or envelope!

    The first to state his case seems right until another comes and cross-examines him.

        Yeah....I don't think their oath includes facing potentially unstable people receiving certified letters.... ..

                A friend of mine has a motion sensor near his front door so he knows if anyone is approaching. On more than one occasion he has opened the door to see a mailman just finishing filling out the sorry we missed you card. Of course they never knocked or rang the doorbell.

                            I think he's talking about "certifying" online -- where you answer questions to determine that allow them to process the benefit.

                            Separate from the notification of eligibility by mail.
                            The first to state his case seems right until another comes and cross-examines him.
