I'm going to a surgeon later today. I have an abscess that needs to be lanced. My neurologist says everything should be okay as long as they numb me up good. I just hope this one is willing to listen to us.

Things seem to be going pretty well. They said I should feel like a new man after that. I suspect I will be sore once the numbing wears off though.

Just got back from the follow-up appointment. Everything looks good. Apparently however, there's a 50% chance that I will have to have this thing removed.
Further prayers would be appreciated.
ETA: Sparko, did you have your appointment yet? I would think they wouldn't make you wait this long.Comment

I just got home from the oral surgeon. Didn't hurt a bit. Not sure what it will feel like when the nova-cane wears off though.
