    Ms Pumpkin

    Prayers for my mother, please. On Christmas Eve, her pet cat and companion for about 15 years, Ms Pumpkin, died. Not totally unexpected as she had been sick for three or more months. Still, my mom's apartment and heart have to be a little emptier without Ms Pumpkin there.

          Your mom just lost her companion and friend which can be especially hard on older people.

          Be sure to make an effort to talk to her more often.

          Crap. Do that even if she hadn't lost her pet.

            Please continue to pray for my mother. She called today (before I had an opportunity to call her) and said missing Ms Pumpkin was really hitting her hard today. I think she'll pull through eventually but it's going to take time.
