Prayer Testimony

I'm having trouble remembering when this happened. It's on the order of 10 years ago. God keeps bringing it back to mind so I think He wants me to share the story...

I was volunteering in a nursing home. One day when of the residents wants to pray for me. It didn't take a lot of conversation to tell she wasn't quite all there. I said yes and we prayed. It wasn't a long prayer but I remember she praying that God would give me 100 million dollars. Than we went our ways.

No, I didn't get 100 million dollars.

Up to that time, I was having some financial difficulties. But looking back since that day I haven't had significant financials issues.

I keep finding myself coming back to this event. I think it may have been more significant to my Christian walk than I realized then.

I know I have some major bills coming. I just have to keep reminding myself about this event.
